MY WORK
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
Challenge: The company owns many rental properties in the area. In the last 2 years they have noticed a marketed increase in the amount of turnover in residents. Through a needs analysis (which included collecting feedback from current and previous residents), the company identified a main area of improvement is the training of their property managers. Many residents expressed that their reasons for leaving were directly connected to a lack of customer service, communication, and community.
Solution: This course is for all property managers, assistant property managers, and property office personnel employed by the company at all locations. An e-Learning module is recommended since employees are in various geographical locations. This module will focus on 3 main topics: New Resident Communication and Education, Building relationships with residents, Resident Retention and Renewal and will include a final evaluation in quiz format.

VOLLEYBALL 101
Challenge: Volleyball is the 4th most popular sport in the world. However, it does not even rank in the top 10 most popular sports in the US according to most sources. Research shows that fans enjoy sports more when they understand the fundamentals of how the sport is played. This course aims to increase interest and awareness in the sport of volleyball at the national and international levels by explaining the basics of the game. The goal would be to develop potential spectators’ understanding of volleyball fundamentals with the hope that it will cultivate a larger fan base and increase viewership long term.
Solution: This course is for sports consumers with little to no current engagement with volleyball or who are interested in learning more about the basics of volleyball. One e-learning course is recommended for this training because it can be distributed to learners in various locations and time zones. It is self-paced and repeatable which will allow learners to absorb the information based on their specific learning styles.
